Discipleship

“Your attitude should be the same as that of Christ Jesus:” (Philippians 2:5)

The Discipleship Team offers educational opportunities to help you "grow in the knowledge of the truth as revealed through Jesus Christ".

Discipleship Team Purpose:
To teach everyone about God and the fulfillment of promises through our Savior Jesus Christ, we will provide a foundation for faith through Christ-centered and biblically based materials and methods, so that future generations will know and serve Christ. We seek to meet all people wherever they are on their personal faith journey and help them reach a deeper understanding of salvation.

We offer a variety of ways to help you grow in discipleship, no matter where you are on your faith journey:

Sunday School classes (Sunday mornings from 9:45 to 10:45am)

Children's Sunday School. We offer Sunday School for all ages, cribbery through high school, and invite all children to join us.

Adult Sunday School. We offer seven classes on Sunday mornings, often studying seven different topics. We're sure there is one for you!

Other Opportunities.

Vacation Bible School. During the late summer we offer a week-long Vacation Bible School in the evenings for ages 3 to 6th grade. VBS will be offered July 20-25, 2008 from 6:30 to 8:30PM.

Confirmation Class. Once a year, students of middle school age can participate in an intensive four month course that meets once a week. The class allows the students to fully explore the Christian faith and understand what it means to be a disciple of Jesus Christ and what it means to join the church as members. This is an important milestone in foundation of faith for our young persons. The current class is in session and runs from January 27, 2008 through May 11, 2008.

Disciple Bible Study. These are extremely popular long-term Bible studies that promote a deeper understanding of both the Bible and God's claim on our lives. Plans are also underway to offer short-term Disciple Bible studies; watch the Sunday bulletin and Revelations for more information as they become available.

Homebuilders. A class for couples to grow and deepen their relationship.
