FUMCL: Evangelism: Red Bird Mission

Red Bird Mission provides mission opportunities in the heart of Appalachia, especially at their summer Work Camp to repair cabins and buildings on the grounds of the Mission. More than 2,300 volunteers in mission participated in Red Bird Work Camp during 1999. They completed 150 projects in the community and 100 projects on camp facilities. The UMW supports this ministry to provide education, shelter, and medical and dental services.
